“Sing-4-Him Worship Focused Lessons” is an Add-On to our regular vocal lessons, designed to teach children, teens, and older students how to truly worship while singing songs for & about God. Students are taught how to lead worship, how to differentiate singing secular songs vs. worship songs, & to have a heart for worship.
laura’s testimony
There are many facets of Laura’s life, such as wife, daughter, teacher, singer… but above all, the greatest title she could ever bear is that of “Christian.” Laura is very proud of her family heritage. She is the great-great granddaughter, great-granddaughter, granddaughter and daughter of Christian ministers. Her whole life, she has been guided by her family to use her talents for God’s glory. At the age of 2, she began singing in church. Her dad was the church song leader, and he would hold her up in front of the congregation, and she would help him lead singing. She has remarked before that being on stage was always the “normal” place to be, with no fear. At the age of 8, she was saved, and she was baptized by her father. She is so blessed because she never remembers a life, without God at the center. Laura continued to sing for God from age 2 to present, as she released her Christian album and has lead on worship teams since age 14.
laura’s mission
“I was so, so blessed to grow up in the Ford family and to have Bob and Janice Ford as my parents,” she said. “I never knew a life without prayer, without God, without Jesus, without joy, without faith, and without hope. Sure, we all have moments where we feel hopeless or faithless, but because of my love for and belief in Christ and His salvation and love. And, because I believe that even with all of the people, and in all of the billions of lives that are and have been on this Earth, Jesus knows MY NAME. He is my friend, he is my protector, he is my forgiver, he loves me regardless of what I may do wrong, but I pray to do right, to make Him proud and when I enter Heaven, I will be able to hear ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your master.’ (Matthew 25:21 ESV) I believe that teaching children and my older students about singing for God and His glory is one of my main missions during my life.

What does the Sing-4-Him Worship add on cost?
Nothing, it will be part of your child’s regular lessons.
What does the Sing-4-Him Worship Add-On entail?
Each term the student will sing 3 songs, and at least one will be worship-focused.
Laura and the student will choose the song(s) they will sing.
Each lesson, Laura will send/give the student an image or printed Bible Verse about Singing for the Lord
Laura will teach the student what it means to sing with a heart of worship: how singing for the Lord is different than singing a secular pop, country, or showtune, for example.
Laura will teach her students how to lead worship.
She will teach students HOW to focus on God when they sing, and how to truly serve God through song, on stage, while worshiping.
